How to Book

Reservations: We recommend booking your safari well in advance. Many of the camps/lodges are limited in size can sell out quickly. To ensure first choice of accommodation is available, clients often book 6 months to 1 year in advance. However, we can accommodate last minute booking in some cases.

Payments

Deposit: Upon confirmation of your trip, we are required to take an upfront fee in order to secure accommodations in lodges. A non-refundable deposit equal to 30% of your total trip cost is required to reserve your space within two weeks of booking. If departure date is within 90 days, full payment is required to secure your space.

Middle Payment: A 35% second payment 6 months prior to the commencement of safari

Final Payment: Remaining 35% balance plus a trip add-ons (tours, excursions, etc) is due 90 days prior to trip commencement.

Payment Options: Payments can be made in the form of Zelle, wire transfer, check, money order, cashier's check or a credit card payment (subject to 3% processing fee to cover the amount charged to us by the credit card companies).

Please note that itineraries that require Gorilla Permits, Tiger Permits or lodging partners that require a larger deposit may have stricter payment terms.

Cancellations

The cancellation of a trip is a rare and unfortunate event, which can be a difficult scenario for everyone involved. With safaris being booked so far in advance to secure the accommodation and arrange flawless logistics, these long lead times can lead to inevitable chances of cancellation. This circumstance, while never easy, is something that does occur and for that reason, the necessary procedures are in place to assist as best we can.

During the booking process, Enzuri Safaris is subjected to substantial charges by the relevant lodges and suppliers in the event of a cancellation, and these charges naturally increase as the safari date draws closer

• 30% deposit due to secure trip

  • Deposit payment automatically shifted forward to use on a future safari within 18 months; less any fees that have been incurred (e.g. non-refundable airfare, lodge cancellation fees, etc)

• 35% payment due 6 months prior to commencement of trip

  • Payment is refundable if written notification of cancellation is received three (3) months from departure date.

• 35% final payment + selected tours & extras due 90 days prior to commencement of trip

  • Final payment is non-refundable as it falls within 90 days of departure

Travel Insurance

With an investment like a safari, travel protection is a must. Opting for a “cancel for any reason” policy offers flexibility and peace of mind. Most reputable travel insurance agents are now offering quarantine cover and medical cover for COVID-19.

Please let us know should you need a letter for your travel insurance company, stating that your trip has been postponed and monies transferred across to the new trip.
