Explore the wonders of the Mother City and take in all the beauty she has to offer on our Full Day Peninsula Tour - from the pristine white beaches, the penguin colony, breathtaking mountains, to the spectacular sight of Cape Point.
Itinerary:
Hout Bay | The small fishing village of Hout Bay is often jokingly referred to as the ‘Republic of Hout Bay’ by Cape Town locals, and has the sense of being an entirely separate town.
Chapman’s Peak Drive | Regarded as one of the world’s most scenic roads, this incredible 9Km and 114 curved scenic drive of Chapman's Peak, also known as "Chappies", nestled between Hout Bay and Noordhoek, offers lookout points and unforgettable views. We might even be lucky to spot some whales and dolphins along the way!
Boulders Beach & Simon’s Town | A trip to Boulders Beach is one you will not forget - one of the only places in the world to see the endangered African Penguins in their natural habitat. Boulders Beach has grown rapidly to over 3000 penguins since only two breeding Jackass penguins settled in that arrived from Dyer Island, near Gansbaai. Simon's Town is the seat of the SA Navy, and has a charming coastal town atmosphere and a vibrant history.
Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve | See one of South Africa's most admirable sightseeing and tourist attractions. A spectacular nature reserve that lies in this area is one of the most famous landmarks in Cape Town, and for good reason. Situated on the very tip of the peninsula, the area spans across landscapes such as rugged cliffs, unique fauna and flora, and vast open spaces. See over 250 species of birdlife, baboons, bucks and the Cape Mountain Zebra. Explore the Cape of Good Hope, a world-renowned landmark, and monuments in honor of two of the world's most famous explorers - Vasco da Gama and Bartolomeu Dias, who discovered Cape Point in 1488. No Cape Town tour is complete without a visit to Cape Point.
Kalk Bay | The quirky seaside village of Kalk Bay runs along the Main Road, with the False Bay coastline running on one side, and the mountain on the other. Along the Main Road lies a host of veritable treasure troves, from antique shops to costume shops, cobbled streets, vintage bookstores, bakeries, the famous Brass Bell restaurant and plenty more. The area is also excellent for whale watching during whale season (June to November).
Muizenberg | Muizenberg is a world-renowned surfing spot, where people from all parts of society join in communion to enjoy the wonders of the ocean. Situated on the beach, you will find an array of the famous colourful beach huts and plenty of restaurants and surf shops. Shark spotters keep a lookout for potential danger roaming in the bay.

Shark Cage Diving | Full Day
Shark cage diving is one of the best ways to experience one of the ocean’s most majestic, and feared, predators up close. It is one of the most popular activities among visitors to Cape Town. There are few things more exhilarating than looking a great white shark in the eye, while appreciating the sheer beauty of these magnificent creatures.
Itinerary:
Travel to Gansbaai (2 hour driver from Cape Town) to embark on a thrilling adventure.
Meet the expert crew members and marine biologists that will accompany us on the boat.
After a light breakfast and safety briefing, we will depart for Shark Alley which is a 15 to 25 minute boat ride based on sea and weather conditions.
Once we arrive at the site, the cage is then deployed, where it floats next to the vessel.Safety precautions and operational procedures are then explained to any guest wishing to enter the cage. It is important to know that the sharks come very close to the boat so it is not necessary to dive in order to see them. Those not wishing to dive will still have excellent views of the sharks.
Once a shark approaches the boat, bait is kept in the water to keep the shark around long enough for identification, viewing and cage diving purposes. At no point are the sharks purposefully fed or handled.
Includes: Transportation, Dive Gear (including mask, snorkel, weight belt and wetsuit), Light Lunch, Fresh Fruit, Snacks and Refreshments on Board
Excludes: Gratuity
Price: $325/per person

Robben Island Tour | Half Day
Located in Cape Town's Table Bay, Robben Island is one of South Africa's top historical attractions. For centuries it was used as a penal colony, primarily for political prisoners. Although its maximum security prisons have now closed, the island remains famous as the place where former South African president Nelson Mandela was an inmate for 18 years. Many leading members of political parties like the PAC and ANC were imprisoned alongside him.
In 1997 Robben Island was turned into a museum, and in 1999 it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has become an extremely important symbol for the new South Africa, reflecting the triumph of democracy over apartheid and the ongoing journey towards racial tolerance. Now tourists can visit the prison on a Robben Island tour, led by ex-inmates with firsthand experiences of what life in the prison was like.

Thankfully there are 100′s of Whales to be viewed at Hermanus, South Africa, very close to land during the months of early June to late November. The exact date all depends when the star performers arrive and depart. Other species of Whales that can be viewed are Humpbacks and Bryde’s Whales, as well as, African Penguins, Cape Fur Seals and if you are very lucky pods of Dolphin.
The boat-based whale watching trip is not capped and is from 1hr 30m – 3hrs maximum. It depends on traveling time to the Hermanus whales on that trip; the time spent with the whales is the same. The trip normally averages at about 2 hours.
